The print from this scanned negative has required a little bit more effort since the left hand side of the images was quite overexposed and, especially the sky, needed to be burnt.
I made two test print on resin coated paper using a 4.5 filter in order to get a very strong contrast. Then I tried the first full print:

I was quite happy with the contrast overall, but the sky and the horse's neck were too bright and there wasn't a clear separation with the white border. So I started to burn the sky and the left hand side of the picture.

The second print was still not burnt enough, while the third looked already better, but I still wanted more detail of the horse's hair and a slightly darker sky. So I increased the exposure time for burning.
This is the final print:

I used the following printing settings:
Paper: Resin coated
Aperture: f11
Exposed: 25s
Adjustments: burnt left side (details on the horse's neck)
Filter: 4.5 magenta
