I was really excited about printing this shot since I really wanted to see how it turned the subjected surrounded by pitch black. I was afraid the picture was not sharp, since I had several light leaks on that roll, but I thought that a very high contrast may have done the job.
Luckily, the subject was sharp and I really like the grainy aesthetic of the shot so I decided to make a final print out of it.
It took a couple of attempts before getting the top left corner right. The first time I burnt it too long and the second was too bright so I lost the border. The face needed some dodging, but not excessively, otherwise the grain would have been too disturbing.
Final print
