The lecture we had with Peggy about how to create a strong Creative CV has been extremely helpful and inspiring. I already had a CV that I have used to find part-time jobs in the past (I am currently employed) but that is something completely different to the kind of CV I need to find a job in my field of study. However, I have decided to use that as a starting point and look critically at it.
This is my current CV (not up-to-date):

I have started to revise it and I immediately found a crucial error: GENERIC STATEMENTS

However there are also a few motivated statements:

Of course there is very little I can save from my old CV, since it is not very relevant to the field in which I want to pursue my career (hopefully...). So I made a list of things I should include in my creative CV:
International background, used to live far away from home, great adaptability, independent
Multilingual, Italian mother tongue, English advanced speaker, basic knowledge of French and Spanish
Volunteering experiences:
-Teaching English in the Sunkoshi Boarding school in Nepal and taking pictures for the NGO “Creative Nepal” (2016)
-Took part in a project in collaboration with the charity “Gloucestershire Young Carers” taking pictures documenting the life of a young carer (realised a magazine spread and a photo-film for university). Still collaborating with them
-Took part in an Eco Project in Samothraki, Greece living in a self-sufficient community working on regenerating the ecosystem of the island (photo project) (2018)
Student Ambassador (2018) and Course Rep (2017- ongoing)
Working experience in different countries including Italy, England and Ireland
Several experiences in the catering sector, customer service, great communication, working under pressure, used to work in a multicultural environment
Grade A in my studies
Co-founder of the Society “Green Team” and current vice-president
Passions and interests: sustainability, self-sufficiency, alternative communities, cooking, hiking, history of art, rural crafts and cultural traditions
Researches and contacts assistant for an acclaimed documentary photographer
Gallery invigilator at Fours Corner, London
Student of Photojournalism and Documentary Photography: familiar with Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Premiere, Darkroom, meeting deadlines, finding contacts for projects and great communication with people
Those are things that I believe are relevant to the kind of jobs I will apply. The idea that I want a potential employer get of my persona is: a flexible, determined and independent person, with a creative eye, reliable, able to respect deadlines, extremely curious, genuinely interested, adventurous and seeking for challenges. Able to work at ease in a wide range of environments, in touch with different cultures and with strong communication and research skills.
