Today, reading Huck Magazine, I came into a street-photography project that I found extremely interesting for future ideas.
The photographer Alister Redding presents in his work "Rhyming Couplets" combinations of portraits and still lives images, shot in the urban environment, in which we can see visual connections.

I consider this series incredibly clever. This is an on going project, the kind of work that you can keep on shooting for a life time without the real need to dedicate specific time to it. It's a matter of quirky observation, on our everyday life we came into plenty of people, shapes and objects that can work together. Furthermore, even images that are not particularly strong, assume a completely different value and meaning once combined with another one.
I love how he perfectly inserts people in their environment, he is probably using a 50mm lens with a medium aperture, since the background is quite sharp but still effectively separated from the subject. I am sure he bent down a little bit when taking the pictures, I have found this the best position in order to get these full body length portraits.
This is objectively a visually pleasing project, that can be consumed by a wide public and for this reason is the kind of work that got easily published.
