On Saturday 18th March I decided to spend a day in Birmingham shooting for the Street module. Since my last feedback group session, I decided to keep focusing on people in context and cinematic scenes.
Unfortunately, the weather was absolutely awful but that gave me the chance to visit the Bullring markets that turned out to be a great spot for my project!
The pictures that I took are a combination of candid and posed photos (especially portraits) all taken with my little mirrorless Fuji with a 35mm (roughly 50mm equivalent) mounted. Since I started shooting with this camera and lens I barely used further equipments... It has reveled to be the perfect solution for me, due to the reduced dimension of the camera, people do not care about it, even if they notice I am taking picture of them, they behave naturally and consequently I get better pictures.
Looking at all my street pictures, I can start to see a constistence so I am selecting the ones that I would like to present together
