A&P - Project development

During the last weeks I have been shooting for my Austerity and Prosperity project. My original idea was documenting student life, focusing on the lack of space in which we have to live. Recently I have decided to try to develop another project, documenting all the "austere" subjects that I come into in the walking distance from my work place. Working in a pub, I always have to walk in the evening and most of all at night and the transformation of the streets according to the time fascinates me. Doing a research about Brassai for an assessment I have been absolutely inspired by his works and I decided to try as well to document the nightlife. Furthermore I really appreciated the project of Francis Alÿs: Walking Distance from the Studio in which the photographer simply document the hard work of the carriers in the surrondings of his studio.
